The Islamic university was organized the university's eleventh batch graduate ceremony:-

Islamic University Students Union in collaboration with the Social Development Organization was organized a graduate ceremony of the eleventh batch from the university on 21th safer 1437 AH, corresponding to the 4th December, 2015 m.

The ceremony was held amid a large presence of graduate students totaling 200 students and university administrators, faculty members and representatives of educational institutions, universities, community organizations, businesses, banks as well as the media and others.

The Islamic University was founded in 1422, corresponding to 2001 and came up with eleven batches including them this batch that this ceremony was organized for them by the university. The Islamic university enjoys a good and excellent relations with local and international universities and institutions of the local community, and it has signed agreements with a number of Somali universities in desire to promote academic and research cooperation and the development of academic programs offered by the universities and to link it to development plans and needs in the country. The university also signed agreements with universities abroad based on the same cooperation and these universities are included:

1. university of Science and Technology in Yemen

2. Ghazi university in Turkey

3. International University of Africa in Sudan

4. Omdurman Islamic University in Sudan

5. Holy Qur'an University in Sudan.

At the end of the ceremony a number of awards and certificates of excellence was distributed to the early grade outstanding students, and also a number of appreciation certificates distribution to the Social Development Organization, the Manhal of Charity Association, Hormud Company and the Institute of Science and Islamic culture.

In conclusion, the university announced that it offers a master degree scholarships (MS) for the five students who have attained the first rank in their classrooms, and also granted a reduction in tuition fees for the rest of the students graduated this year.
