Islamic university in Somalia is the prestigious education and social institution in the higher education field and it has a high scientific profile in the hearts of our Somali people, and there is no one denies that. It works on transferring the religious, social, cultural, historical and the knowledge heritage to the future generations, and it strives with all of its forces to activate their resources and capabilities and to enrich the knowledge of its students and their experiences, taking in all of that, on the scientific expertise and tough of its intellectual professors, drawing on all the scientific development, means of educational development and technology development.
In addition to that, it takes the visions of the social actors in order to serve all the members of the community, the university is committed to the standards of the development and continuous qualifications in order to guarantee the quality assurance and accreditation in its educational programs.
The university is seeking to become the radiation centre of all the new though and knowledge and science, and to become the palace from which the views of the scientists, thinkers, leaders and reform and development campaigners are came from. The university is the place that was prepared to the keeping of the faith, values and ethics that nation seeks its maintaining and strengthening, and preparation of the future generations to keep it, also the university is seeking to be a beacon of the experiences’ confluence and proposals’ exchange for the sake of enrichment of the science and knowledge, and respond to the society’s aspirations, hopes and its orientations and resolving its problems.
This is putting on the university responsibility, its administration, professors and staff the duty of maintaining that position and to move forward to keep pace with the scientific progress that witnessed by the world, and confronting the rapid exchanges that occur in the world shade with the intention of adhering to the originality, and realizing all of that with the modern educational methods, research and proving a community service.
The university is seeking throughout its career to develop its programs and curricular constantly, and bringing a new programs and syllabuses in a manner commensurate with the scientific and knowledge variables, as the university is committed to initiate the new disciplines, faculties that commensurate with the scientific needs and the requirements of the comprehensive development, so that, the university will establish in the next few years – if Allah willing - a new disciplines, whether in undergraduate or postgraduate programs such as medicine, health science, engineering and technology sciences, veterinary and agriculture faculties, as well as institutes and research center and others.
In addition to that, the construction of the university campus and equipping a largest educational complex in Somalia, that included all the faculties of the university, its library, and administration buildings as well as the accommodations of the student, professors and staff.
